Empowering women to transform cultural heritage into sustainable, future-oriented enterprises is not only a matter of gender justice but a strategic investment in resilient local economies. When women’s knowledge is valued, when youth are included as partners, and when policies support integrated cultural–economic ecosystems, communities can build development pathways that honor tradition while expanding opportunity.

To strengthen students’ awareness of sustainable development and foster a sense of social responsibility, Xiahuayuan Middle School recently hosted a Sustainable Development Education Program under the theme “Mobilizing Youth Power, Shaping a Sustainable Future.” The program was delivered by Love&Future which engaged teachers and students in a comprehensive learning experience focused on sustainability and youth responsibility.

Love & Future’s community-based education program in Guizhou brings together local artisans, female entrepreneurs, and young leaders to co-develop courses that support sustainable livelihoods and climate resilience.

New York, 15–16 April 2025 — Young leaders from around the globe gathered at the United Nations this week for the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum, where side events highlighted the transformative role of youth in advancing gender equality, rethinking economic growth, and building global partnerships for sustainable development.

Young people are indispensable agents of change in advancing climate action and the SDGs. Their innovation, resilience, and leadership are key to securing a sustainable future for all.

At the United Nations Headquarters 2024 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, Love & Future emphasized one clear message: change cannot happen without young people at the decision-making table. From climate action to education reform, Love&Future’s team brought youth voices into global conversations, underscoring that the SDGs must be tackled together—not in silos.

Hundreds of world leaders, youth activists, and changemakers gathered at the UN headquarters for the SDG Action Weekend to accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda. Love&Future joined the global dialogue, spotlighting youth leadership, education, and intergenerational collaboration as key drivers of sustainable change.
